The biggest greenhouse complex in Kazakhstan is constructed in Almaty. Actions for official opening of an object in honor of the 25th anniversary of independence of Kazakhstan are planned for the beginning of December, BNews.kz corresponding reports.
The greenhouse on 12 hectares of «BRB APK» LLP, a total cost of 6,6 billion tenge is financed by JSC KazAgroFinans, the company in structure of KazAgro. An object is located in Alatausky district of the southern capital and oriented to annual production of 3,200 tons of tomatoes and 4,000 tons of cucumbers. The technology of the Dutch company Dalsem is used on production. It is supposed to employ about 150 people.
Financing 41 projects on a construction of greenhouse complexes of industrial type on the area of 147 hectares is approved by the Kazagro National holding for the purpose of support of domestic farmers and ensuring requirement with vegetable products during off-season. Their aggregate value makes 46.5 billion tenge, production capacity 63,000 tons of fruit and vegetable products a year.
14 projects worth 6 billion tenge with cumulative capacity of production of fruit and vegetable products of 31,000 tons per year are approved by Holding. All 14 projects are put into operation. The largest of them - Amankeldi LLP (South Kazakhstan region), Alma Green Fields LLP (Almaty Region).
According to the Ministry of Agriculture of RK, the production volume of early vegetables in the republic in 2015 made 147,7 thousand tons that according to a national regulation of consumption only for 83% provides internal need of the country. It attracts increase in import volume of vegetable products during off-season, growth of an importozavisimost.
Today the need of the republic population for vegetables of the closed soil makes about 175,000 tons.
