Foreign trade turnover of Kazakhstan increased almost by 30%
In January-May, 2017 the foreign trade turnover of the country as a result of renewal of demand and growth of contract prices has increased by 29,2% and export - for 37,6% has increased up to 29,9 billion dollars, the minister of national economy Timur Suleymenov said during Kazakhstan Government meeting, BNews.kz correspondent reported.
"In January-May of this year the foreign trade turnover of the country as a result of the renewal of demand and growth of contract prices has increased by 29,2% and export - for 37,6% have increased up to 29,9 billion dollars, including," the minister informed.
The head of the department has noted that against the background of improvement of price situation and increase in deliveries export of copper ores has increased.
"Growth of physical volumes has grown 2,1 times and at cost by 3,3 times, ferroalloys by 1,9 times, zinc ore by 1,5 times at cost and iron ore by 1,4 times at cost," he said.
In general foreign trade shows steady dynamics of growth. Import of goods has grown by 16,7% (up to 10,9 bln. dollars of the USA). A positive balance of a foreign trade turnover, having exceeded 8,0 bln. dollars of the USA has increased by 1,8 times.
