Kazakhstan might develop state program on improvement of engineering
Today Mazhilis of Kazakhstan Parliament at the end of the high-level plenary meeting, the deputy Mazhilis Meiram Pshembayev raised the question on the development of the state program on improvement of engineering taking into account recent global challenges, and on protection of the interests of domestic manufacturers of Kazakhstan engineering, BNews.kz reports.
In his speech, Meiram Kudaybergenovich paid the special attention to the fact that this year in the Russian Federation, the participants of competitive procurement procedures with the Russian proposals will have an advantage over foreign analogues at the rate of 15 per cent of the contract price in accordance with the Decree number 925 of the Government of the Russian Federation from September 16, 2016 year, contrary to EAEU.
This question had already been raised at EEC, the Coordinating Council for Development of Mechanical Engineering of the Customs Union, but the Russian side does not commented on the adoption of the above regulation.
Today there are barriers for domestic enterprises, in particular in the integration processes and domestic engineering enterprises face with the challenge of unequal opportunities of participation in Russian tenders.
Eventually Meiram Pshembayev suggested taking appropriate measures to protect the interests of domestic producers of engineering industry at the level of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
