Pacific Alliance countries confirmed the participation on EXPO 2017
Countries of the Pacific Alliance – Chile, Mexico, Peru and Colombia, and also Barbados confirmed the participation at the International specialized Exhibition EXPO 2017. Thus, the total quantity of member countries reached 111, BNews.kz reported.
According to representatives of new member countries, its subject - "Future Energy" - is very urgent for the countries of the Pacific Alliance as here actively study possibilities of broad application of renewable energy resources, the press service of the EXPO reports.
For example, in Chile where the mining industry violently develops, solar and wind energies are even more often used.
In Peru, despite high potential of hydroenergy resources, considerable inventories of natural gas, gas condensate, develops the sphere solar, wind and a geothermal power.
Colombia – the country which issued the own car on a solar energy also has the considerable potential for development of alternative power engineering.
Mexico, being one of oil-producing countries, conducts active search of new types of energy.
In the same region there is a world leader on a share of production of renewable energy resources - Costa Rica which uses up to 90% of the energy received from alternative sources.
