First crisis center to open in Aktobe
Opening of the first crisis center for the people who have fallen into a difficult life situation is planned in Aktobe to 25 years of independence of Kazakhstan, BNews.kz correspondent reports.
The first crisis center will be open in Aktobe within public-private partnership. According to secretary of the commission on affairs of women and family population policy under the mayor of region Akmaral Khon, opening of the center plan to carry out within the actions devoted to 25 years of independence of Kazakhstan.
"The building for the center belongs to the local entrepreneur who gave it for a good cause. The state and content of the center will be completely covered from the budget," Akmaral Khon said.
Not only the victims of domestic violence, but also all who have fallen into a difficult situation, left homeless will be able to address to the new crisis center. Lawyers, psychologists and physicians will help them.
"It happens often when the husband kicked out his wife and she has no place to go. Earlier we did not know where to direct them. Also the victims of human trafficking or fire victims will be able to find temporary shelter," Akmaral Khon added.
It is possible to live in the center from one to six months until people find home, work or documents. The center is expected for 200 places. According to organizers, this real help to those who have fallen into a difficult situation and it will help to relieve the social and criminal tension in region.
