N. Nigmatullin: Forming of Kazakhstan parliamentarism model directly connected with the President

At the International conference "25th anniversary of independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan: Results. Achievements." which is taking place in Astana, chairman of Majilis Nurlan Nigmatullin told about the President of Kazakhstan role in forming of the Kazakhstan parliamentarism model, BNews.kz reports.


According to the speaker of Majilis, Parliament of modern Kazakhstan corresponding to world universal model has the unique lines connected with national traditions, legal culture, public way, mentality and a lifestyle of Kazakhstan citizens.

"The figure of the First President who is the main initiator of all democratic transformations became the main factor which rendered crucial importance on forming of the Kazakhstan parliamentarism. For this reason Nursultan Nazarbayev can be considered rightfully as the founder of the Kazakhstan model of parliamentarism," N. Nigmatullin said.

Chairman of Majilis paid attention that many milestone events of Independent Kazakhstan took place in Parliament of the country: decision on transfer of Kazakhstan’s capital, the idea of the Eurasian integration pushed by the President in 1994 and which received the practical embodiment in formation of the Customs union and Eurasian Economic Union.

"The current year goes under the chairmanship of Kazakhstan in EEU. In this regard, at the initiative of the head of state, 2016 is announced "Year of the Eurasian Economic Union’s deepening of economic relations with the third countries and key integration associations". Integration capacity of the Eurasian Economic Union, cooperation increase with the European Union and implementation of the "Economic Belt of the Great Silk Way" project together with China undoubtedly will strengthen line items of Kazakhstan as important business partner and hub in Eurasia," N. Nigmatullin said.
