Amount of financing of NGO projects increased for 23% in 2016
The amount of financing of nongovernmental organizations projects increased for 23% in 2016 and constituted 9.280.4 ml tenge. Deputy Prime Minister Imangali Tasmagambetov reported about it during the VII Civil forum of Kazakhstan, BNews.kz correspondent reports.
"According to the Ministry of Finance of Kazakhstan of June 1, 2016 the amount of financing of nongovernmental organizations projects increased for 23% and constituted 9.280.4 ml tenge in 2016 (in 2015 – 7.143.9 ml tenge). Including at the republican level - 534.8 ml tenge (in 2015 – 914.8 ml tenge), at the regional level – 8.745,6 ml tenge (in 2015 – 6.229,1 ml tenge)," he said.
I. Tasmagambetov noted that the state social order is "one of effective mechanisms of state bodies and nongovernmental organizations interaction ".
"Managements of domestic policy, health care, education, culture, coordination of employment of the population and social programs, natural resources and regulation of environmental management, on development of languages, tourism, physical culture and sport are operators of the state social order at the local level. The analysis of the state social order showed that on the republic 1,913 social projects, including 62 projects at the republican level, 1,851 projects at the local level are planned in 2016," the deputy prime minister of Kazakhstan reported.
During the performance he noted dynamics of non-governmental organizations growth in spheres of socially vulnerable segments of the population support, development of youth initiatives, promotion of a healthy lifestyle, development of local self-government, public monitoring, strengthening of a public consent and protection of the rights of citizens.
