Children with anomalies of urogenital system operate in Kokashetau

Children with congenital anomalies of urogenital system will operate in Kokshetau. The master class "Endoscopic and reconstructive plastic surgeries in urology of children's age" took place in Akmola regional children's hospital, six children were operated under the leadership of the capital colleague, children's urologist-andrologist Ardak Ainakulov, correspondent reports.

The master class was held by manager of children's urology department of JSC National Scientific Center of Motherhood and Childhood, children's urologist-andrologist, candidate of medical sciences Ardak Aynakulov.

Six children aged from 3 up to 11 years were operated within two days.  According to the press secretary of health care management of the Akmola region Shankhi Golubeva-Utebayeva, all operated children feel well.

"Surgery took place without complications. Children could come home within 7-10 days," the press secretary added.

In children's hospital noted that similar surgeries will be performed here.

"We used to send children with congenital anomalies of urogenital system for treatment in republican clinics. Now we will operate children’s with such diagnosis in Kokshetau," deputy chief physician for surgical work of regional children's hospital Nurlan Tusubekov said.

The doctor also added that surgery is performed by a low-invasive method in case of which patients recover quicker and easier.

Ardak Aynakulov thanked Akmola citizens for the invitation and the shown trust. Professor noted the good prospects of surgery development of the Akmola regional children's hospital and promised to continue cooperation in the future.
