Kazakhstan MPs approved the bill of volunteer activity
The Majilis of parliament of Kazakhstan during the plenary meeting approved the bill "On Volunteer Activities". It is developed for the purpose of creation of the legal basis of institute of volunteer activities, BNews.kz correspondent reported.
"Relevance of need of development of this bill "On Volunteer Activities" is caused on the one hand with the fact that the country develops different types of volunteer movement, the volunteer organizations will be organized. On the other hand, standard legal regulation of these questions practically doesn't exist. In 2006 the Decree of the Head of state approved the concept of civil society from 2006 to 2011 where the question of need of institutional development of volunteering as important stage in development of civil society in general was staticized. This document use of volunteering is recognized a strategic asset and a valuable resource for implementation of program strategy," the deputy of Majilis Gulnar Iksanova said.
The deputy noted that in Kazakhstan there are more than 100 volunteer organizations, tens of thousands of people positions herself as volunteers, volunteers, are engaged in charity and, the culture of volunteering actually is now created.
Following the results of the Summit of OSCE, following the results of the Asian Games the good mark of activities of volunteers was given and in anticipation of EXPO 2017 there is an active work on training of volunteer groups.
