President of Kazakhstan: The issue of Astana renaming will be resolved very deliberately
Any question, especially - renaming of the cities, settlements, will be solved very deliberately, if it is necessary for the state, for the country, Nursultan Nazarbayev noted during the meeting about activities of the National commission on modernization, it is reported in the placed video interview in the Facebook account of the president press service.
"It is considered, probably, that I give a command to wtire everywhere Nurly-Nurly. Yesterday the parliament assumed that, perhaps, even to rename the capital to my name. I did not stated such offers to anybody and didn't tell it. To the 25the anniversary everybody act, write articles, in television, Internet, we speak about our progress. We are proud. Really, there is what to be proud of - we made a lot. I am as one person wouldn't make anything if you weren't near, and I was lucky in general for 25 years with colleagues whom I selected. They did their job. I consider that there is a team - you who do the job, therefore we have success. One person can make nothing. I once again want to tell - thanks to all and to our parliament, deputies, for the yesterday's declaration in which noted all stages of our development. My role was allocated, of course, I am glad. The parliament is an independent part of the power, they have a power of decision, to tell the opinion. Any question, especially - renaming of the cities, settlements, etc, we will decide very deliberately, in proportion to what is necessary for the state, for the country. It is an external part of a question, it is necessary to be engaged in results of specifically internal part of the question," Nazarbayev said.
