Kazakhstan representatives participated in charitable fair in Geneva
In the UN Palace of Nations in the city of Geneva the annual charitable international fair under the auspices of the United Nations has taken place. The action is an important cultural event for the diplomatic corps accredited in Geneva and also locals, BNews.kz reported.
The CEO of office of the UN in Geneva Michael Møller has made a speech at the opening ceremony, the Press Service of the Foreign Ministry of Kazakhstan reports.
Participants and guests of a fair have had an opportunity to get acquainted with culture, traditions and customs of all countries presented at the fair. National music sounded and dances of various people have been shown.
The permanent mission of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Geneva also took part in the organization and holding of the charitable action of the UN. Guests received the printed materials containing comprehensive information on national history and culture of Kazakhstan, key international initiatives of Kazakhstan and also rich kitchen of the people of our country were presented.
The raised funds during the action of the UN will be allocated for charity events for the aid to the needing children worldwide.
