Eminent Kazakhstan boxers prepare for home fight in anticipation of EXPO 2017

The meeting of the Minister of Culture and Sports Arystanbek Mukhamediula with world champion by the NBA version Zhankosh Turarov has taken place in Astana. During the meeting questions on the home fight of the Kazakhstan boxers devoted to EXPO 2017 have been discussed. Telling about professional fighting in America, the boxer has noted that there fans do not divide athletes into nationalities, they choose beautiful boxing, BNews.kz correspondent reports.

"Now we coordinate how to continue collaboration. We made an offer to Gennady Golovkin and Kanat Islam. We should to define how we will box, all together or everyone will have separate fights," the boxer has assumed.

The boxer has told about his plans. He wants to conduct big fight in Astana or in Almaty. The opponent is not defined yet.

"I am planning to go to America in January. I will carry out one or two fights. Following the results of meetings and negotiations, I hope to hold big fight here or in Almaty. It is unknown who will be my opponent yet. Of course we are guests, but in the USA they do not divide into Kazakh or Russian, all Americans. They support those who are stronger. If you show beautiful boxing then you will find the fans. There is no division there," Zhankosh Turarov said.

The boxer noted Zhanibek Alimkhanuly who debuted on the professional ring recently. According to him, Zhanibek Alimkhanuly probably will go to professional fighting after the Olympic Games in Tokyo.

Zhankosh Turarov practices boxing since 2004. He has 20 victories in 20 carried-out fights, 14 of them by way of knockout. He is the world champion in welterweight by National boxing association (NBA) version.
