Kazakhstan national team wins 4 medals on the Golden Grand Prix on fight in Baku

The Golden Grand Prix on fight in Baku where athletes from 50 countries of the world fought for medals has come to the end. Following the results of competitions, the national team of Kazakhstan succeeded to win four medals, BNews.kz correspondent reported.


"Following the results of superiority Zhiger Zakirov in weight category of 74 kg, and Daulet Zhakhilikov (80 kg) have managed to win bronze medals. The Kazakhstan girls have managed to cause a stir in the Baku Grand Prix too. So, two members of the women's national team became bronze prize-winners of superiority," the spokesman of Federation of fight of Azerbaijan Maize Musayev said, BNews.kz correspondent reported.

According to him, Elmira Syzdykova in weight category to 69 kilograms was stronger than the representative of Azerbaijan Alice Manolova - 7:3. In qualification Elmira has overcome the Turkish woman Byuza Tosun, in a quarterfinal Jiao Wang has won a victory over the Chinese woman, and has conceded in a semifinal stage to Tamyra Mensah from the USA who in a total fight with the Japanese sportswoman Masako Furichi has got "silver". 

Besides, the Kazakhstan sportswoman Irina Kazyulina has won a bronze medal in category to 75 kilograms. In opposition for the third place Irina has overcome Russian Angela Katayeva - 5:0, and at the previous stages Aysegyul Ozbege from Turkey Canadians Lea Kellakhan and representatives of China was stronger.
