Young athletes of Kazakhstan continue to prepare for the Universiade 2017. Participant of the national team in nordic combined Chinghiz Rakmarov told about the importance of competitions. In his opinion, the Universiade will give a big impulse to development of sport, BNews.kz correspondent reports.

According to him, preparation in November took place in Russia (Nizhny Tagil) and now participants are training in Kazakhstan.

"I think the Universiade will give a good impulse for development of sport in Kazakhstan, we will get attention and will create conditions for full-fledged trainings. We planned to go to Germany to the first stage of a continental cup after Russia. We did not compete at the international competitions for a half year. But as we got refused in financing for training to Germany, we stayed at home in Almaty. 

Unfortunately, here not absolutely suitable conditions for preparation for the Universiade. Everything thawed on trampolines. Now we train in the ski and biathlon complex Alatau. It is necessary to be ready to have good result competing at the international competitions. I think that more convenient conditions will be created for us after the Universiade," the athlete said.

Nevertheless, according to Chinghiz Rakmarov, preparation in November yielded the results. Athletes gained good cyclic and hopping amount in 18 days, but it is hard to estimate our opportunities, he considers.

Let's remind, the Universiade 2017 will take place from January 29 to February 8 in Almaty. The program of winter Games included 12 sports. About 2,000 athletes will participate in competitions. 3,000 volunteers from Kazakhstan and from other states will be involved. The TV broadcast will go on 80 countries of the world with general spectator audience 1 billion people.
