Elisabeth Tursynbayeva wins Kazakhstan figure skating championship

The open figure skating championship of Kazakhstan among athletes from Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan under 18 years come to the end in the ice arena Almaty Arena. Elisabeth Tursynbayeva became the prize-winner of the championship, BNews.kz reported.

About 80 figure skaters who represented different regions of our country and the abroad have acted in pair and single skating in such programs as, short, any and sports dances.

Today on ice the fine numbers in the program any were shown by more professional participants having sports categories KMS and MS.

From Masters of Sports, following the results of two programs (short and any) among girls the first place with quite big separation was won by Elisabeth Tursynbayeva (216,46). Her closest persecutors residents of Almaty Ayza Imanbek and Aleksandra Sayutina who have scored 135.11 and 123.41 points have taken the second and third place respectively.

Among boys the Almaty athlete Artur Panikhin who has scored 150.48 points has got a victory. Behind him have settled down Melis Haquimov from Karaganda (132.13) and Nikita Manko from Astana (129.92).

22 athletes have taken part in fight for gold among candidates for the Master of Sports from girls. As a result Alan Toktarov's resident of Almaty who has outstripped Gulzhan Zhumadilova (97.10) by 37 points was the winner of this superiority. She has 135.21 points. The representative of SKR has got bronze Dariye Sirotin (96.97)

From the good party this day guys from the category KMS have also proved. With an indicator 124.59 gold was won by the athlete from Astana Rakhatbralin. Silver and bronze were won by Almaty citizen Vsevolod Phil (103.12) and Ilyusi Volkov (94.85).

Thus, this competition which is a test in the run-up to the 28th World winter Universiade of 2017 has ended with demonstration performances of participants of this championship.

It should be noted that superiority passed three days during the period from December 9 to December 11. Winners and prize-winners have been awarded by diplomas and medals.
