Kazakhstan to spend over 37 bn tenge for employment programs
For the implementation of the employment program, it is planned to direct more than 37 billion tenge in 2017.
As the Ministry of Health and Social Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan reports, in 2016 for the implementation of the first direction of the program "Employment Road Map 2020" in Almaty, the republican budget allocated 7.9 billion tenge. These funds planned to conduct major repairs in 133 infrastructure projects.
Of the total number of buildings there are 33 education objects, 8 - culture, 11 - health, 47 - transport infrastructure, 3 - municipal engineering infrastructure, 31 - improvement facility.
The project implementation employed 1498 people, 973 people of them are "ERM 2020" program participants.
In addition, in Pavlodar region, the "ERM 2020" program repaired 345 social facilities this year, the Strategy 2050 NA reported.
In 2016, the republican budget allocated 4.2 billion tenge in Pavlodar region. These funds planned to be spent for the implementation of 350 projects, including 345 infrastructure repair and construction of five outpatient clinics.
There are 91 education facilities, 40 - culture, 34 - health 34 - transport infrastructure, 23 - social protection, 21 - sports, 16 - municipal engineering infrastructure, 86 - improvement.
Pavlodar region employed 2,366 people for these projects, 1 243 of them within the "ERM- 2020".
The national budget allocated 2.1 billion tenge to Mangistau region to repair 185 infrastructure projects in 2016.
"Of the total number of buildings and structures to be repaired, 63 objects within the scope of improvement, 57 - Education, 22 - transport infrastructure, 19 - engineering and municipal infrastructure, 16 - Culture, 4 - Health 3 - Sports 1 - Social Protection", the Ministry of Health and Social Development of Kazakhstan reported.
Thus, currently 184 projects are under implementation, where 946 people are employed, 686 people of them are members of ERM 2020.
It should be reminded that 80.1 billion tenge allocated for the realization of the first direction of ERM 2020 program in 2016. These funds were distributed between the regions on the basis of applications of local agencies on the number of projects.
At the same time, in 2017 it is planned to direct 37.3 billion tenge for the implementation of the Employment Road Map 2020.
"Mainly the project is aimed at crisis response measures - save and create job places, conditions for the development of regions and improve the well-being of citizens, the draft budget provides the necessary expenses", - Minister of Finance of Kazakhstan Bakhyt Sultanov said at the plenary session presenting the forecast of socio-economic development for 2017-2021 years.
The work to promote the organization of sustainable and productive employment under the Employment Road Map 2020 will continue. For its implementation, 113.5 billion tenge will be spent, including 37.3 billion tenge covering 47 thousand people in 2017.
In addition, within the framework of modernization of housing and communal services it is planned to send 54 billion tenge for crediting and subsidies for reconstruction and construction of heating systems, water supply and sanitation.
