Kazakhstan warns citizens about danger of trips to Jordan
The department of the industry of tourism under the Ministry for Investments and Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan asks the Kazakhstan tourists to refrain from trips to Jordan, BNews.kz reported.
According to messages of world media, on December 18, 2016 in the city of Al-Karak in the west of Jordan there was a terrorist attack during which fighters have committed armed attack against the center of security forces and posts of police then they have occupied the medieval castle with tourists. As a result of attack 10 people, including the tourist from Canada have died.
The department of the industry of tourism of the Ministry for Investments and Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan asks the tour operators realizing tours to Jordan to warn the clients about possible danger and recommends Kazakhstan tourists who are in the territory of the country to observe precautionary measures, to avoid places of mass accumulation of people, to keep calm and to follow requirements of local authorities.
