Labor productivity of Kazakhstan citizens to increase up to 20,000 dollars by 2050
Growth of national economy will be provided at the expense of a work gain in productivity by 2050. It will increase by 5 times up to 20,000 dollars on one person. President Nursultan Nazarbayev told about it during the solemn conference in honor of the 25th anniversary of independence, BNews.kz correspondent reports.
"Small and medium business will make at least 50% of GDP by 2050. Growth of national economy will be provided at the expense of a work gain in productivity. It will increase by 5 times up to 20,000 dollars on one person. We will provide transition to innovative system of development. Within the current second five-year period of the organization over 300 absolutely new innovative entities will be constructed. About 2 million fixed workplaces will be created till 2050. The main role in it will be played by preparation according to the «General professional education» program for all – about 1 million qualified personnel of working professions. That is we declared that we will provide each young man who graduated secondary school with a profession and we will train at the expense of the state. Further he will move by himself but will have a profession," the president promised said.
He noted that 35% of Kazakhstan population in 1996 was below the poverty line, actually were beggars. The share of the population which is living below the poverty line was reduced by 12.5 times and unemployment is reduced by 2.6 times for years of independence. 270,000 new workplaces are created every year for the last five-year period.
