Life expectancy of people has increased on average up to 5 years for quarter of the century in Kazakhstan and in particular in Almaty. Besides, indicators of mortality in Almaty are lowered on a quarter and birth rate has increased. Chief of the department of health care of Almaty Valikhan Akhmetov told about it during the press conference on a subject "Implementation of the message of the head of state "Kazakhstan in new global reality: growth, reforms, development": The V direction of the anti-recessionary and structural transformations "new social policy", BNews.kz correspondent reports.
According to Valikhan Akhmetov, the health care of the megalopolis develops steadily and consistently in 25 years of independence of the country. For today positive changes in the state of health of citizens are reached.
"For these years birth rate of Almaty residents has grown by 18%, the general mortality is reduced by 26%, including maternal mortality – by 33 times and infantile - in 3. Mortality of citizens from diseases of blood circulation is reduced by 3.2 times, from cancer by 45%. Besides, the natural increase has increased for 70%," Valikhan Akhmetov said.
Akhmetov noted life expectancy of people that in Almaty has increased for quarter of the century from 70 to 75 years old and on the republic from 67 to 71 years old.
In addition, during the meeting the chief of the department of health care noted key indicators of development of health sector of the city in a year. 31 health care facilities where the latest technologies and techniques of medical care are introduced are constructed in 11 months in Almaty. 8 reanimobiles and 32 cars for linear crews were acquired by the mayor office for increase in efficiency of city ambulance in the run-up to the Universiade 2017.
