N.Nazarbayev: Kazakhstan and Israel can effectively interact on a wide range questions
At a briefing for members of the media following the results of negotiations with Prime Minister of Israel Benjamin Netanyahu, President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev told about how negotiations with the Prime Minister of Israel took place, having noted that negotiations took place in the open and constructive course, Akorda's press service reports.
The head of state emphasized that negotiations took place in the open and constructive course.
"We discussed a complex of bilateral interaction questions, exchanged opinions on urgent international problems. Results of our meeting allow to tell with confidence that Kazakhstan and Israel can effectively interact on the most wide range questions," the President of Kazakhstan declared.
Nursultan Nazarbayev and Benjamin Netanyahu paid special attention to trade and economic questions, having noted a negative impact of an adverse situation in the global market on a total business volume. In this regard, the parties also discussed what opportunities can be involved for stimulation of economic interaction.
"Agreements on recovery of direct flights and study of entering of a visa-free regime between our countries are reached. Such measures should promote deepening of bilateral business contacts, cooperation in the field of tourism," Nursultan Nazarbayev said.
As the head of state noted, creation of the free trade area between the Eurasian Economic Union and Israel on which subject negotiations already was held will become an essential incentive for development of business contacts of two countries.
"Also live and open exchange of opinions on the international and regional issues took place today. The UN, CICA and other multilateral organizations and forums are noted as important platforms of our interaction," the President of Kazakhstan said.
The head of state declared that following the results of a meeting the parties agreed to support regular political dialogue, to develop contacts at all levels and also to make common efforts for a partnership conclusion to qualitatively new level.
"I’m sure that consecutive implementation of arrangements will promote deepening of bilateral interaction in all directions which we discussed today," the head of state noted.
In conclusion of a briefing the head of state congratulated the friendly Israel people on the coming Hanukkah holiday.
Let's remind that as ambassador of Israel in Kazakhstan Michael Brodsky noted, Netanyahu's visit is aimed at increasing the level of the political and economic relations between two states. A number of agreements, including on the civil aviation and cooperation in management of public services will be signed.
