Nursultan Nazarbayev became laureate of Russian "Man Of The Year — 2016" award
The Russian biographic institute called laureates of " Man Of The Year — 2016" award, BNews.kz correspondent reports.
The president of Kazakhstan is awarded with the prize "For outstanding achievements in international policy and strengthening of the Eurasian Economic Union," Russian biographic institute website reports.
38 people - famous politicians, public and church figures, representatives of executive bodies, entrepreneurs, cultural figures and arts became its owners in 2016.
The ceremony of delivery of the National award "Man Of The Year — 2016" took place under the codes of the Cathedral of Christ the Saviour. It was organized by the Russian biographic institute which researches modern Russian society through a prism of its elite activities.
Beginning an awards ceremony, head of the Russian biographic institute, writer-historian Svyatoslav Rybas told that the awards ceremony is held for the 24th time and is devoted to the 75th anniversary of the Victory near Moscow in 1941, rg.ru reports.
"Every people consist of three levels – ones who are still live, ones who passed way and ones of future. All these three levels are provided in this award. It is memory of predecessors, these are today's achievements, it is a thought on decent future of our children and grandsons," Rybas said.
The award is given for achievements in the most various spheres, including in the field of culture, state policy, international relations, medicine, development of historical and cultural traditions, science and education, journalism, fight against crime.
