Over 6,500 Kazakhstanis were registered during the last weekend in Astana
Over the weekend in Astana, more than 6,500 people were registered, 2,400 citizens of whichgot the temporary registration, reports BNews.kz.
As the Deputy Head of the Department of the Internal Affairs of Astana, the Police Colonel Batyrlan Yessenbayev noticed, "in connection with the new rules in the migration laws about the temporary registration of citizens internal at the place of residence, on January 7 and 8 the migration police of the Department of the Internal Affairs of Astana in the service centers for population carried out the reception of citizens.
The quantity of the workplaces in migration police have increased from four to six, depending on the population density in order to make the registration procedure convenient and quickly for the population in the service centers. “More than 6,500 people were registered over the weekend in Astana, 2,400 citizens of which got the temporary registration," the press service the Department of the Internal Affairs in Astana reports.
The migration police reminds that the permanent and temporary registration needs the consent of the property`s owner (presence of person with an ID), an authorized representative of the property`s owner, the identity card of the registered person and receipt of payment for the state duty for registration at the place of residence at the rate of 226.9 tenge.
The registration is issued the same day as the application, in order to simplify the conditions and the order of registration, including the socially vulnerable layers of the population. It doesn`t require the prior cancellation from the previous place of residence, registration and statement from previous address are made automatically. For persons without any fixed place of abode the registration is carried out in the social adaptation and rehabilitation centers, in case of absence of the identification documents or their loss, the registration is provided with the use of temporary ID card.
Let's remind that the registration institution in Kazakhstan was established in 1993. It does not restrict the right to freedom of movement, but people who arrive at the new place of residence must inform the state authorities about their address.
