Russia received pavilion for EXPO 2017
Today the chairman of the board of the Astana — EXPO 2017 National Company Akhmetzhan Esimov met the commissioner of Russia's section on EXPO 2017, the deputy minister of the industry and trade of the Russian Federation Georgy Kalamanov. On the end of the meeting documents on transfer of the Russian Federation pavilion were signed, BNews.kz reported.
During the meeting, the parties discussed questions of preparation to EXPO 2017. Akhmetzhan Esimov acquainted the Russian side with the carried-out work on preparation for an exhibition and involvement of the international participants, EXPO 2017 press service reports.
In turn Georgy Kalamanov expressed gratitude for an opportunity to show the developments on renewable energy resources at the exhibition in Astana.
"Now all issues on participation of Russia in EXPO 2017 are resolved – the concept of participation is developed, the budget is created, the advisory council for filling of the pavilion is created, some other organizational matters on participation in the EXPO are solved. The Russian companies are ready to join in this process. This subject for us is very important and we will pay to this action a lot of attention," the commissioner of national section of Russia reported.
On the end of the meeting documents on transfer of the Russian Federation pavilion area of which constitutes 1008.6 sq.m were signed. According to the Russian delegation since January-February of the next year the Russian Federation will start registration of an exposition of the pavilion.
Today, participation in EXPO 2017 was confirmed officially by 112 countries and 18 international organizations.
