Astana hosts third session of Business council of Kazakhstan and Iran

Today «Baiterek» holding organized the third meeting of Business council of Kazakhstan and Iran in Astana, BNews.kz correspondent reports. The session takes place within the Kazakhstan-Iranian business forum.

During the session the parties will discuss important issues of further development of a trade and economic and investment cooperation between Kazakhstan and Iran, including need of joint promotion of investment projects and finding of the optimum mechanism of implementation of settlement on trading activities. 

"The «Baiterek» holding as the operator of the main state and government programs, is ready to give full support to entrepreneurs of both countries. The holding and its subsidiary companies provide a service package on attraction of financing, structuring projects, export and technical support of entrepreneurs," chairman of the board of JSC «National Managing Holding «Baiterek» Erbolat Dosayev said.

First of all, it is about long-term debt financing through the affiliated organization of Holding - JSC «Development Bank of Kazakhstan» for implementation of joint large industrial and infrastructure projects. Small and medium scale enterprises get support of one more affiliated organization, JSC «Fund of development of an entrepreneurship «Damu» through a wide range of financial instruments and programs for development of competences of entrepreneurs.

"For the purpose of a bilateral cooperation we actively develop partnership with the Iranian institutes of development. We concluded the memorandum of cooperation with National fund of development on April of this year in Tehran and we hope that it will allow to lay the foundation for a long-term cooperation and will give an impulse to development of joint projects," Erbolat Dosayev summarized.

As expected, a number of bilateral agreements will be signed and negotiations on already signed contracts will take place during the session.
