WHO held in Almaty a conference on service quality improvements to the population
WHO held in Almaty the international conference on questions of improvement of service quality to the population at the level of the first contact of the person with a health care system, BNews.kz reported.
European regional bureaus of the World Health Organization (ERB WHO) on behalf of geographically remote office of WHO on primary health care (GRO WHO on PHC) created in Almaty with assistance of the government of Kazakhstan and Country office of WHO in Kazakhstan held the international conference "Innovative Approaches to the Integrated Primary Health Care".
The conference which was devoted to questions of development and improvement of service quality to the population at the level of the first contact of the person with a health care system – primary health care united more than 100 participants from Kazakhstan, and abroad.
Conferees discussed questions of enhancement of the organization of the provided help to the population, improvements of quality, communication and interaction with the population that is one of the most important elements of satisfaction of the population the provided services of health care.
Within the conference employees of ERB WHO and GRO WHO on PHC gave lectures to more than 1000 students to interns of the Kazakh National medical university of S.D.Asfendiyarov on current world trends of the integrated primary health care oriented to needs of patients.
At a bilateral meeting of high level between the vice-Minister of health and social development of Kazakhstan Tsoi A. V. and the director of department of health care systems and public health care of ERB WHO, Dr. Hans Kluge reached agreements on a further cooperation and the plan of action of activities of GRO WHO for PHC for 2017.
For 2016 GRO WHO on PHC is held a number of meetings at the level of prime ministers and the Deputy Prime Minister of ministers of the countries of the European region for development of patient-oriented primary health care, scientific researches are conducted and a technical assistance for strengthening of PHC is given.
Let's remind that the European region of WHO includes 53 countries of the participant, and GRO WHO opened in February, 2015 in Kazakhstan on PHC is designed to be the platform uniting front lines of practice of the countries of participants for improvement of health of the people of all European region, including also Kazakhstan.
