Woman from Uzbekistan arranged delivery of sex slaves to Kazakhstan
Law enforcement agencies of Uzbekistan detained the criminal who organized the channel of sending girls to Kazakhstan for sexual exploitation, Centralasian.org writes.
The 24-year-old resident Bekabad (Tashkent region) Elena Orlova organized the channel of illegal export to Kazakhstan of female residents of Uzbekistan. Girls were enticed fraudulently, promising highly-paid job in services industry. Actually after a crossing of the border they got to slavery and were exposed to sexual exploitation.
"Elena Orlova selected young girls in the territory of the Syr Darya and Tashkent regions under the pretext of their employment on a highly-paid job as waitresses at solid Kazakh restaurants. Then they were sent to Kazakhstan through the international check point of Gishtkuprik.
In Shymkent girls were met by the citizen of Kazakhstan named Regina owning several saunas. For each girl, Orlova received from her 400 dollars," the representative of law enforcement agencies noted.
The criminal was detained by field investigators of Uzbekistan Security Service in attempt of sending to Kazakhstan of the next batch of "live goods". Concerning it, criminal case under article 135 ("Human trafficking") of the Criminal code of Uzbekistan was brought.
According to the court verdict, the woman was found guilty and condemned to imprisonment for a period of 5 years. At the same time, having taken attenuating circumstances into account, the court replaced Orlova's punishment on conditional with a probation period for one year.
