Romania FM: Kazakhstan President`s initiative is example for post-Soviet space
Kazakhstan's Ambassador to Romania Daulet Batrashev met with Romania FM Teodor Viorel Meleșcanu, during which they discussed the current state and prospects of development of bilateral cooperation within the celebration in July 15 of this year, the 25-th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between two countries, BNews.kz reports.
Kazakhstan diplomat presented to Romania FM the President`s address on powers` redistribution, main aspects of President's special statement: "Third modernization of Kazakhstan: global competitiveness”, the progress of Nation`s Plan “100 concrete steps” to implement five institutional reforms.
The sides discussed issues relating the participation of Romania in the forthcoming international exhibition Expo 2017, international initiatives of Kazakhstan and, primarily, the multilateral interaction under Kazakhstan's membership in the UN SC for 2017-2018 years.
Teodor Viorel Meleșcanu highly appreciates Kazakhstan's foreign policy and international initiatives of President Nursultan Nazarbayev having stressed their relevance and global significance. Talking about the constitutional reform, announced by the Head of State, the Minister said that the proposals made by Kazakhstan President are important not only for the Kazakhstan society, but also it is a challenge to EAEU countries, which clearly states the readiness of Kazakhstan to further democratization of the society, the relevant under the signed agreement on expanded partnership and cooperation between Kazakhstan and the EAEU
Having stressed the vision of President N. Nazarbayev and the significance of his special statement "Third modernization of Kazakhstan», a Romanian politician stated that Kazakhstan model of economic development and the dynamics of political change in the country is an example for post-Soviet space and the Central Asian countries.
