10 Kazakh citizens detained on suspicion of advocating terrorism
Kazakhstan's National Security Committee (NSC) also informed that the detainees were charged with inciting religious hatred.
On October 27 the NSC arrested 10 citizens of Almaty, the Almaty, Akmola and Karaganda regions, BNews.kz correspondent reports referring to a press service of the National Security Committee.
Those arrested are charged with promoting terrorism and inciting religious hatred by systematically disseminating extremist content on social networks and Internet messengers.
More than 180 believers from 15 regions of Kazakhstan were in chats and groups in which religious materials were placed.
Data on the involvement of the persons out of those arrested in financing and supporting terrorism is being figured out.
Investigatory actions are still underway.
