20 foreign leaders have visited Kazakhstan in 2018
Following the visits of the Head of State abroad and these of the foreign leaders to Kazakhstan, approximately 135 documents for a total amount of over US $30.6 billion have been reached.
The passing year has seen senior-level and high-level visits of 20 Heads of State, Aibek Smadiyarov, representative of the Kazakh Foreign Ministry, told, BNews,kz correspondent reports.
"Kazakhstan has been visited by 20 Heads of State, 16 Heads of Government, 24 foreign ministers, 2 heads of international organizations at the senior and high level, enhancing Kazakhstan's cooperation in international integration groupings," said Aibek Smadiyarov.
They in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs also noted that the year 2018 has seen the high-level visits of the Head of State abroad, and these of the foreign leaders to Kazakhstan, making it possible to conclude over 135 documents for more than US $30.6 billion.
"From the beginning of 2018, the high-level visits of the Head of State abroad and these of foreign leaders to Kazakhstan have taken place, leading to the signing of over 135 documents for up to US $30.6 billion. We've resumed constantly monitoring the implementation of the agreements reached during the President's visits abroad, and these of the foreign heads of state to Kazakhstan, with special attention placed to the agreements on joint investment projects with transnational corporations," he said.
The Kazakh Foreign Ministry's representative noted that the Ministry directly interacted with local companies interested in investment and exports, with a focus on small- and medium-size businesses. A number of companies of Kazakhstan have received support. And the Ministry intends to further carry out this work.
