Abayev called regional media for cooperation
The regional TV channels will be granted the rights to broadcast of the video production made within the state order, the minister of information and communications of Kazakhstan reported.
The minister of information and communications of Kazakhstan Dauren Abayev made a speech at a forum of regional media which takes place within Astana Media Week, BNews.kz correspondent reported.
"This year the forum takes place within Astana Media Week and this big event for media community of our country. After two days we have received the mass of positive reviews from journalists, media executives and other participants of the media market. Therefore we have no doubts that media-week has to become the traditional platform where we have to discuss in details the most current problems of branch and solve the problems facing us," Dauren Abayev told.
In the speech the minister reminded that a year ago representatives of MIC and regional media in Astana gathered on a similar action where journalists have sounded a number of initiatives, offers and requests.
"And then members of the media have read a number of offers, each of us has made a promise, and we then have constrained the. The Association of regional media has been created. At the end of last year association has been registered in the Ministry of Justice. Today it already has founders, heads, the charter and all necessary documents. I think, it is time to start substantial work. I urge all regional media to be connected actively to activity of association," the minister noted.
The head of department has also noted that the issue of transfer of rights of broadcast of the video production made within the state order, to regional TV channels has been handled.
