“They come back and we should be attentive. If special security services of our states cooperate closely, we will know a lot about terrorists, drug trafficking, religious Islamists and so on,” the President said.
He assured that all existing interregional issues should be resolved by the Central Asian states.
“It is security that matters. The current situation in Afghanistan, I will not talk about it, everyone talked about it. We are concern by it. If security services of our states cooperate more closely, we will know a lot about terrorists, drug trafficking, religious Islamists and so on,” Nazarbayev said.
The President noted that terrorism, religious extremism, illicit weapon trafficking, organized crimes can be prevented.
“We have agreed on that. A conference at a high level will be held at the end of the month in Uzbekistan. All our states will take part. We deal with the issue within CSTO as well as in a close interaction with the Russian Federation, that is an important moment in the work,” the head of state said.
