Agency for Civil Service Affairs and Anti-Corruption develops new ID Cards for civil servants
Digitalization will allow to monitor the efficiency of civil servants.
The session of the inter-ministerial working group to introduce a new format of identification cards – civil servants’ ID – was held under the chairmanship of Alik Shpekbayev, BNews.kz reports with a reference to a press service of the Agency for Civil Service Affairs and Anti-Corruption of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The session was held with the participation of the authorized agency in the sphere of informatization and information security, representatives of IT-communities.
The development and introduction of identification cards include the implementation of an electronic digital signature of civil servants and the integration of control systems and access management by governmental agencies with the single control centre IIS E-kyzmet.
Owing to the integration, it will be possible to enter the administrative building of governmental agencies with the use of the IIS E-kyzmet system, that will allow to further optimize expenses for servicing pass offices.
The session was demonstrated other capabilities of the new electronic identification card in a pilot mode.
An electronic digital signature of a civil servant implemented on the ID Card was also tested that allows to electronically sign documents placed in information systems of governmental agencies.
The approaches presented received approval of the working group.
Also, members of the working group were given recommendations to apply innovation solutions (software and applications) for audit and control over working time of civil servants. It will allow to monitor the productiveness and efficiency of employees, as well as to reduce risks for incidents that create a threat to information security.
We note that is has been reported that ID Cards were introduced in a pilot mode for all employees of the Agency for Civil Service Affairs and Anti-Corruption.
Nowadays, the work to introduce more improved electronic identification cards in all governmental agencies of the country is being held.
