Akorda identified nominees for state awards
All nominees will be recommended to the head of state.
The Akorda held a meeting of the Commission on State Awards under the President of Kazakhstan chaired by Kazakh Secretary of State Gulshara Abdykalikova, a press service of the Akorda reports.
The Commission considered proposals of the government agencies, organizations and public associations on state awards.
The Commission, being an advisory and consultative body under the President of Kazakhstan, considers the proposals to approve and abolish state awards of the Republic of Kazakhstan, draft laws and other laws and regulations on awards, the understanding of nominating state awards of Kazakhstan and others.
Following the meeting, the Commission's members identified nominees that will be recommended to the head of state.
Traditionally, a ceremony of presenting state awards is held on the eve of the Independence Day.
