US ambassador partook in the Kazakh tradition

George Krol wished all the best to Dimash.

The US ambassador to Kazakhstan took part in the Kazakh tradition “Tusau kesu”, where George Krol cut trammels that tied up the child’s feet. The movie was published on the official website of the embassy on Facebook.

“An employee of the Embassy invited the Ambassador to perform the ceremony of Tusau Kesu (the Kazakh national ceremony that celebrates a baby's first steps) for his first-born son, Dimash. He hopes someday his son will grow up to be a diplomat and bring better understanding between the people of the world! We wish young Dimash all the best and hope he will join other Dimashes in bringing the United States and Kazakhstan closer together,” says the embassy’s message.
