Therefore, in terms of improving the investment climate and formatting a positive image of the country abroad by the Agency for Civil Service Affairs and Anti-Corruption of the Republic of Kazakhstan has launched the “Anticorruption investor support” project.

“From the period when the investor has arrived in Kazakhstan and until the end of the project, we provide him with guarantee and protection that he could implement the project without difficulties and without any form of corruption,” said Head of the “Anticorruption investor support” Project Office Gulmira Kabiyeva.

According to Kabiyeva, from the moment of opening of the project office, complaints about the solicitation of bribes or other corruption crimes have not been received yet. Employees of the office intend to eliminate bureaucracy and work over improving the legislation.

“We will gather with interested government agencies, will initiate proposals and amendments to the law,” said the Head of the project.

From June 8, 11 foreign and local entrepreneurs among representatives of Russia, Poland and Kazakhstan have addressed to the project office for assistance. In total, the project is designed for three years. In the future, it is planned to open project front-offices in each region of Kazakhstan.
