Astana has attracted 600 billion tenges of investment this year
This year's figure is by three times more compared to the same period of the past year.
In Astana, between the period from January to September, the volume of investment has made up around 598 billion tenges, including 158 million tenges of foreign investment, a website of the capital city's Mayor's Office reports.
In addition, the share of foreign investment has increased from 10.2 to 26.5%. It is planned to attract around 1 trillion tenges follow-up to the Year.
"In the past year, the volume of investment reached a record of 957 billion tenges. Of which 200 billion tenges - foreign investment, exceeding the 2016-year figure by three/four times," said Gulmira Yermoldina, the deputy head of the Investment and Entrepreneurship Development Department at a session of the Commission of Astana's Maslikhat on budget, economy, industry and entrepreneurship issues.
Maslikhat Deputy Gaidar Kassenov mentioned the necessity to develop the manufacturing sector, projects in the modern technologies field, alongside with trade and the sphere of services.
