Astana Hub’s head on expectations from ‘Digital’ Forum in Almaty
CEO of Astana Hub Adlet Nurgazhin has shared what the Kazakh side should expect from the forum “Digital agenda in globalization 2.0”.
“The number of the forum’s attendees demonstrates the growing interest. The forum’s result should be the signing of a memorandum between the four known technoparks, including Russia, Armenia, Kyrgyzstan’s ones. Also, through the memorandums, their more practical implementation in terms of work and interaction with technoparks, invitation to large-scale forums and conferences are planned. In addition, we wish to work with their projects, education programmes more closely. In turn, we can show our education model and projects,” said Adlet Nurgozhin, according to INA Kazinform correspondent.
He also talked about the interest of Kazakh entrepreneurs in automating their processes. The speaker has underlined that most of Astana Hub’s startups are internet sales.
“There are many good and interesting projects in this area,” said Adlet Nurgozhin.
Today the Heads of Government of the Eurasian Economic Union are to discuss the digitalization issues at the forum in Almaty. The forum’s organizer is the Kazakh Ministry of Information and Communications. The annual forum “Digital agenda in an era of globalization” is held at the initiative of President Nursultan Nazarbayev. The event’s main aim is to work out joint measures enabling to strengthen the development of digital economies of the EEU Member States, thus increasing their competitiveness.
