Astana invites to Robotics Dance and retro music concerts

The events dedicated to the 20th anniversary of Kazakhstan’s capital.

Official website of Astana Mayor informs about cultural events which will please citizens and guests of the city on August 6-12 within city’s jubilee according to

Concerts will be continued at parks of the city. The performances will be held in frames of Astana birthday.

Besides, an exhibition of applied art by the Academy of Arts of the Republic of Kazakhstan Astana - Arman Kala (City of Dream) will take place from 6 to 12 August at the Palace of Independence.  Photo exhibition devoted to photojournalist Imamov is scheduled for this period as well.

August 7 citizens of Astana will have a chance to visit Robotics Dance- a meeting of modern robots and the latest achievements of robotics from America, Europe, South Korea and Japan. The headliner of the event will be the English robot humanoid Tespian, who knows how to communicate, laugh and cry, but also read Shakespeare as well. It will be possible to see singing and reading technique in the Nur Alem sphere at EXPO-2017 territory from 10.00 to 20.00. As noted, the exhibition will last until September.

In addition, on August 9, at 7 pm I love Astana, I love 90-ies concert will take place in the Amphitheatre at Yessil River’s bank.

Moreover, National Cultural Complex Ethnic Aul invites to attend Alpamys theatre and circus show on August 9-12 at 7:30 pm.

During weekend August 11 and 12, Nikulin's Circus Show "Planet 13" to be held in capital circus hall. The start of the performance at 4 pm.

August 6-11 Kazakhstan’s Tennis Cup among children under 12 years will take place at Daulet Sports complex.

Barys-Arena Sports Complex will host matches in frames of IX International Hockey Kazakh President’s Cup. The start of the matches at 2 pm August 9-12.

The 4th stage of the Astana Cup in drag racing and sports events in the parks of Astana and sports events in city’s parks within the Fitness Park Astana program will crown the week.
