Astana to hold Song Festival of Asia
Kazakhstan will be the first country that will hold the Festival in the territory of Central Asia.
Kazakhstan from July 10-12 for the first time will hold the international sectoral event in the world of media timed to the anniversary of the capital Media Dialogue of Asia within which seminars, conference, as well as the Asia radio’s Song Festival will be held, BNews.kz correspondent reports.
The Song Festival of Asia radio will include artists from India, Indonesia, Afghanistan, Macao, the Maldives, Nepal, Turkey, Turkmenistan, Vietnam and Kazakhstan.
ABU Song Festival is an annual song contest of the states of Asia-Pacific that is similar to Eurovision. This year, Kazakhstan will be the first country that holds the Festival in the territory of Central Asia.
It is reported that the event will be organized in the concert hall of the Kazmedia ortalygy centre with the possible free entry.
We note that ATBC is a large non-commercial professional association that includes 292 broadcasting organizations from 69 states of Asia and Oceania, which is the largest and deeply populated region of the world, that covers almost a 3-billion-people audience. Cooperation with such an authoritative organization that facilitates strengthening of regional and international union of broadcasters and promotion of their interests will allow Kazakhstan to increase the quality level of its products and to get the world experience in producing programmes and news exchange.
