Burabay Forum kicked off in Astana
The official opening of the international forum took place in the capital on August 8, 2018.
Physicists, political scientists, and economists from Kazakhstan, Russia, Lithuania, Belarus, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan gathered together at Burabay Forum at the plenary session in Astana, BNews.kz correspondent reports.
This year the prospect of joint scientific research in the field of physics and science-intensive technologies, innovative technologies in agriculture, tourism, and social and human sciences will be discussed by CIS experts.
The leaders of Kazakhstani public authorities will also attend the forum, this, in turn, will give an opportunity to young scientists to convey their suggestions and recommendations to the authorities.
Besides, a series of sectional sessions and master classes will be held in the framework of the forum. It is interesting the senior researcher of the Institute of Fundamental Problems of Biology of the Russian Academy of Sciences will share his experience with colleagues. The experts will talk about the introduction of developments in the field of biotechnology, ecology, and agriculture in the real sector of the economy on the example of the Moscow region.
Chairman of the Council of Young Scientists of the Russian Academy of Sciences, and the candidate of physics and mathematics, Andrei Kotelnikov informed the Eurasian Forum of young scientists is expected to be organized in Moscow in the near future to continue work towards international grants. The main goal of the event is providing a platform to share views.
"Representatives of the forum’s participants will give an opportunity to their colleagues from the Academy of Sciences to submit applications in the future to receive funding and implement joint programs with several participants from the CIS countries," Kotelnikov added.
