Chechnya authorities helped to return 12 citizens of Kazakhstan and Russian Federation from the Iraqi captivity

Six citizens of Russia and six citizens of Kazakhstan are saved from fighters in the Iraqi Kurdistan, also the location of six more Russians is known, BNews.kz reported.

The Governor of Chechnya Ramzan Kadyrov said about the release of Kazakhstan citizens and Russians in his Instagram account.

"In the Iraqi Kurdistan the next stage of large humanitarian operation on rescue of citizens of Russia and the CIS countries has come to the end. For its organization I have sent to Iraq the representative of the Governor of Chechnya in the Middle East and North Africa, senator Ziyad Sabsabi. It was succeeded to release in Tal Afar and to deliver to the safe place of 12 people among whom there are six citizens of Russia and six citizens of Kazakhstan," is said in Kadyrov's statement in Instagram.
