Denis Ten: Visitation date settled
Civil funeral will take place on July 21 in Baluan Sholak Sport and Culture Palace in Almaty.
Visitation will be held on Saturday from 10.00 at the Baluan Sholak Sport and Culture Palace, Almaty, BNews.kz correspondent reports.
To recap, July 19 afternoon Denis was stabbed at Bayseitova-Kurmangazy crossroad. The sportsman ran for the unknown, who removed the mirrors from his car. During the scuffle, Ten received a fatal wound. Denis Ten was taken to the Central City Clinical Hospital by an ambulance brigade. After two hours, at 17:30, he died.
Denis Ten, Kazakh figure skater - bronze medalist, a two-time World medalist (silver in 2013, bronze in 2015), the 2015 Four Continents champion, the 2017 Winter Universiade champion, and a five-time national champion of Kazakhstan has died at the age of 25.

Well-known sportsmen, politicians and public figures expressed their condolences to the family and friends of the deceased Kazakh figure skater Denis Ten.
Citizens of Astana city came to the bank of Yessil River to pays tribute to the memory of world-known figure skater Denis Ten.
Astana is sad at Denis’ death. People are laying floral tributes to the portrait of Kazakhstani figure skater.
Almaty, residents also laid flowers, carried candles and portraits of a Kazakh athlete to the scene of the tragedy.
According to the press service of the Ministry of Sports, visitation of Denis Ten will be held in Astana city as well. The ceremony will take place at 10.00 Barys Arena.
The local sportsmen and figure skaters, Minister of Culture and Sport leave for Almaty.
“The removal of Denis Tena's body in Almaty will take place at 8.30 on July 21. A civil funeral service will be held at the intersection of Abai-Baytursynov streets at 10.00. At 11.30 the funeral procession will leave for the cemetery in the village of Druzhba,” the Ministry reported.
