Eight foreign channels will stop broadcasting in Kazakhstan
Since October 11 in Kazakhstan, eight channels entering packages of Alma TV will stop broadcasting at once. The announcement about it has appeared on the website of the company, BNews.kz correspondent reported.
The reason of this is not passing an obligatory registration of representations by these channels in the territory of Kazakhstan.
"Since October 11 TV channels KBS World, ATV TV, TV5, Bloomberg, RT Documentary, RT Documentary HD, Russia Today and "Belarus 24" haven't undergone obligatory registration registration of the representations in the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan that contradicts requirements of the domestic legislation. For this reason TV channels will be excluded from structures of packages of digital cable and satellite television and also Internet TV," is reported on the website of the company.
