Kazakhstan Government to exceed plans on GDP growth
The government of Kazakhstan plans to execute an order of the head of state on GDP growth up to 0.5% by the end of the year. Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Bakytzhan Sagintayev told about it today, BNews.kz reports.
"Following the results of nine months, we see a positive tendency of economic growth. There are all reasons that we will execute an order of the head of state on growth (of GDP) up to 0.5% by the end of the year. Probably, there are no doubts that we will implement this plan. At the same time we have to adhere to and work on a corridor of - 6-8% of inflation. Perhaps, we will have some adjustments, but, nevertheless, the task is set and it must be executed," B. Sagintayev told at the meeting of the government.
The head of the government noted that in spite of the fact that the industry is in a positive zone, there is a number of questions in mechanical engineering, iron ore, construction industries.
"We have an order of the head of state that we, together with central bodies and mayors offices, should work on reserves we have, we know about it. Besides, it is necessary to work separately on each enterprise," the Prime minister added.
In this regard, B. Sagintayev instructed members of the government to work on these issues first of all on the regional level.
