Tbilisi to host the 26th session of Energy Charter Conference
From December 3 to December 4, 2015 Tbilisi (Georgia) will host the 26th session of the Energy Charter Conference, BNews.kz reported.
The power charter is the intergovernmental agreement uniting more than 50 member countries. Strengthening of energy security, energy efficiency assistance, minimization of damage to environment, development of the effective energy markets and creation of favorable investment climate are among main objectives of the Charter.
Kazakhstan is a full member of the Energy charter from the moment of its creation. Active participation in activity of a charter allows to improve positions of Kazakhstan as in a foreign market in questions of cross-border trade and transit, but as well on internal concerning attraction of investments and the solution of questions of energy efficiency.
Besides, the Power Charter is the international forum allowing to make a regular exchange of experience, knowledge and technologies.
