Violations for 431 billion tenge in public procurement are prevented in Kazakhstan
In 2016 violations for the total amount of 431 billion tenge in public procurement are prevented, vice-Minister of Finance of Kazakhstan Ruslan Beketayev reported during a round table "New model of the state audit and financial control" in the Senate of parliament of Kazakhstan, BNews.kz correspondent reports.
"Unique state platform of purchases functions in Kazakhstan in the former Soviet Union where all 100% of procedures by all types of purchases are carried out only in electronic form. The functioning system of "the electronic Ministry of Finance" is integrated with the portal of purchases that allowed to implement without serious consequences system of cameral control where automatically, in online the mode the corresponding procedures of audit are carried out. Cameral control allows to reveal violations at early stages to the conclusion of the agreement," R. Beketayev said.
According to the vice-minister, last year violations carried out on 10,000 procedures on the amount of 170 billion tenge are established.
"This year following the results of cameral control violations on more than 40,000 procedures for the total amount of 431 billion tenge are prevented. Efficiency is available. The number of the prevented violations increased almost by two and a half time. At the same time, thanks to timely elimination of violations, results on purchases in 16,000 cases on the amount of 431 billion tenge are reviewed today," R. Beketayev said.
