European expert: Kazakhstan enjoys global authority
According to Matthias Dornfeld, this is the result of the policy of the country's leadership.
"On the margins of the ASEM Summit, a bilateral meeting of President of the European Commission Jean-Claude Juncker with Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev took place, BNews.kz reports.
The fact that the Kazakh head of state was the first with whom the European politician met demonstrates the special importance of relations between the largest and the most pivotal country in Central Asia with the European Union.
However, the speech of Nursultan Nazarbayev during the ASEM plenary session is impressive, which included a strategic vision on the necessity of close interaction of the world powers like the USA, China, Russia and the European Union to ensure global stability and security.
The President of Kazakhstan's initiative on the convocation of the world powers to deal with global issues under the auspice of the UN is the relevant and strong beginning of a future dialogue. Kazakhstan has proved that it could further serve as an efficient platform for discussing global issues of mankind.
It is noteworthy that Kazakhstan also enjoys global authority as it is a non-permanent member of the UN Security Council in the preiod from 2017 to 2018.
These achievements are the result of the policy of Kazakhstan's leadership aimed at strengthening global stability in international relations!" said Associate Professor at the Berlin Centre for Caspian Region Studies Matthias Dornfeld.
