FC Astana lost match against Dinamo Zagreb at UEFA Champions League
A return match is held MArch 14 in Zagreb.
FC Astana lost in a match of the third qialifying reound of the UEFA Champions League to GNK Dinamo Zagreb - 0:2, BNews.kz correspondent reports.
Over the match, the footballers of FC Astana had an advantage in the field, but could not perform dangerous moments, not talking about goals. And, the football club from Croatia played quite pragmatic, and performed several quick counterattacks againts FC Astana.
The goals were scored by forward of Dinamo Zagreb Mario Budimir and midfielder Dani Olmo (84th minute). FC Astana could loss even more goals, but goolkeepers Nenad Eric over several times saved his team.
As a result, FC Astana lost the match - 0:2, that overshadows all chances of Kazakhstan's champion club to enter the next stage of the UEFA Champions League, taking into account that Dinamo Zagreb will be stronger playing in their homeland.
"I am dissatisfied with everyone and everything. With me or anyone else. We did not play well and did not reach the result. We deserve to be criticized. Chances in a return match are small. We have lost. In the second match, if we have chances, then we should use them," said head trainer of FC Astana Roman Grigorchuk.
