Finnish airline to run 7 flights a week to Almaty and Astana
In addition, the Finnish airline authorized to use any plane for flights to Kazakhstan.
Within the visit of Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev to Finland, the Memorandum on air flights between the states were signed, providing additional commercial rights to the Finish airline for flights to Kazakhstan, BNews.kz reports referring to a press service of the State Aviation Committee of the Kazakh Ministry for Investments and Development.
The Finnish airline has the right to run 7 flights a week to Almaty and Astana, as well as to use any aircraft (without capacity limitations).
The new agreements between the states will further develop the trade and economic cooperation, the tourism and business partnership between the two states. As well as they will promote and expand Astana's capabilities as a transit and transport hub.
Of note, in 2017 the Kazakh side granted Finn Air with the right to run 7 flights a week (each day) between Helsinki-Astana. Since summer 2017, Finn Air has started to run direct flights to Kazakhstan through the route from Helsinki to Astana two times a week.
In 2018, Finn Air runs 2 flights a week from Astana to Helsinki by the A319 aircraft.
