GGG on his way to Las Vegas for rematch with 'Canelo'
The Kazakh boxer shared a photo of him and his team on the airplane.
Kazakh middleweight champion Gennady Golovkin (38-0-1, 34KOs) left for Las Vegas, Sports.kz reports.
Golovkin posted a photo of him and his team on the airplane on his Instagram with a short commentary: 'On our way to Vegas'.
We note Las Vegas is to hold the second fight between Golovkin and Mexican Saul Alvarez (49-1-2, 34 KOs). The bout is held at T-Mobile Arena on September 15.
The boxers have already passed the penultimate weighting, in which Golovkin demonstrated 163.8 pounds (74.3 kg), 'Canelo' - 163.2 pounds (74.02 kg), with the limit of 168 pounds.
The first bout between 'Canelo' and GGG was held in September last year at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas which resulted in a controversial draw. Many experts and supporters believe that the judges 'stole' a clear victory from the Kazakh boxer. The second bout is held on September 15 at the same venue.
